A New Look for Timergy: Our Brand Refresh Story

· Max

TL;DR — Timergy has a brand new logo and refreshed visual identity. We worked with the talented Olivia85 on Fiverr through many iterations to land on a design that captures what Timergy is all about: finding the perfect time together.

The new Timergy logo

When we first launched Timergy, the logo was functional but never felt quite right. As the product grew, with calendar integrations, booking pages, buddy groups, and support for 40+ languages, the brand needed to grow with it. We wanted something that felt modern, clean, and instantly recognizable as an app icon.

So we set out to find a designer who could bring that vision to life.

Finding the Right Designer

We found Olivia85 on Fiverr, and from the very first message it was clear she understood what we were looking for. Her process was thorough and professional: she asked the right questions, set clear timelines, and delivered polished presentations with mockups showing the logo on t-shirts, business cards, and more.

We asked for something clean, modern, and timeless. No overly playful mascots, no generic clip-art. A strong, simple, iconic symbol that works as an app icon and feels like a modern SaaS product.

The Design Process

Olivia delivered three initial concepts, each taking a completely different direction. Our clear favorite was the minimalist, abstract concept: a circular symbol built around a clock element with colored dots.

This is where the real work began. Over multiple rounds of feedback and iteration, we refined the concept together:

The dots became a core element of the logo. They directly connect to Timergy’s voting system: green for yes, orange for maybe, red for no. Three small circles representing three participants coming together to find the perfect time. What started as a decorative element became a meaningful part of the brand story.

The clock element provides the foundation. Timergy is about time, and the clock makes that connection immediate and intuitive. But rather than a generic clock icon, the arcs and gradients give it a sense of motion and energy.

The gradients evolved from flat colors to a rich blue-teal spectrum that feels modern and premium. The logo works beautifully in both light and dark mode, which was a hard requirement from the start.

Along the way, we caught small details that made a big difference. At one point, the inner arc combined with the dots created a shape that could be misread. The clock hands needed adjustment to avoid looking like a letter “L”. These are the kinds of things you only catch through careful iteration and honest feedback.

A new logo means the entire visual identity needs to follow. We took this opportunity to refresh the whole experience:

  • Color palette: The primary accent shifted to a deeper blue, with teal reserved for semantic meaning (vote confirmations, success states). The background gradients on the landing page were reworked to feel more cohesive.

  • Landing page: We added a new people showcase section with illustrated group scenarios, office teams, climbing crews, pizza nights, golf buddies, LAN parties, and ski trips, each with synced UI cards showing Timergy in action.

  • Typography and spacing: Headers, buttons, and cards across the app were tuned for consistency with the new brand direction.

  • Dark mode: The new logo was designed from day one to work in dark mode. The entire site benefits from this intentional approach.

The Result

The final logo is something we are genuinely proud of. It is distinctive, scalable, and meaningful. The three dots tell the story of people coming together. The clock grounds it in purpose. The gradients give it life.

It works at 16px as a favicon and at full size on a billboard. It looks sharp on iOS, Android, and the web. And most importantly, it feels like Timergy.
